Most Essential Item on board?

Hi all - I like to cruise long term, living aboard my boat. What is the most essential item you bring on board, the thing you cannot do without?

I have a few. I like my satellite hotspot, although far at sea it is slow but it works. I think weather software is important, especially if you are planning long voyages.

I have a few. I like my satellite hotspot, although far at sea it is slow but it works. I think weather software is important, especially if you are planning long voyages.

But for my own comfort, whether far away or close to home, I need good binoculars! I need them for navigating, and just to see what is out there! Less
